  1. What is the difference between Baseline and other Inspections?
In Paraspot you have a lot of different types of inspections that you can use. One that is different from them all is the Baseline inspection.
The Baseline is the main inspection of the property. The one which the AI-guidance derives from, to ensure that the property is inspected exactly per your requirements.
The report is not effected and will always be generated by matching to the last inspection or the move-in inspection, the baseline has no effect on that.

  2. Can I manually share an inspection with a team member or a resident?
Yes! You can share the inspection over email or as a text from the Units Page. For further instructions visit our Inspection & Reports section of the help center or Click Here.

  3. Can I customize inspection types?
Absolutely! With Paraspot you can create custom inspections that fit your operational needs. Click here to see how.

  4. How does Paraspot AI determine repair costs and deductions?
Paraspot is estimating the repair cost for damages in the property by evaluating the damage and cross matching it with cost of such work around the location of the property. So if the damage was done at an apartment in Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York, we will evaluate it's cost by assessing the damage, and how much it would cost to fix a damage of the same category at the neighborhood level.

  5. What devices can I use for inspections?
Paraspot AI inspections can be used on any mobile device or browser. Inspections can also be uploaded as a video file from Tablets, and Computers.

  6. How do I get a report and share it with others?
Paraspot is automatically creating the reports from every inspection (non-baseline) that is done on your account. Once the report is available, you can access it and export it as a link, PDF file, or Excel file.
    To learn how, Click Here.

  7. What happens if I lose internet connection during an inspection?
If you lose internet connection during an inspection, it should disrupt the inspection at all. You can continue performing your inspection, once you are done, you will need to either download the inspection and upload it at a later time once you are back online, or wait to get back online while not leaving the inspection screen, and continue with the upload process.

  8. Can I compare move-in and move-out inspections?
Absolutely! Paraspot can automatically match your move-in inspection to your move-out inspections. It is done automatically once you have the move-in inspection available on the platform.

  9. How do I apply automation to multiple reports?
This feature is in a limited Beta version. It allows you to create textual automations to a single report, or every report generated by a group of units, that will evaluate the results of the report, and take action.
If you would like to join the Beta version, contact your account manager to check for eligibility.

  10. Can I upload inspections from a video file?
Yes! You can upload inspections as a video file. It is done differently for baseline inspection and other inspections.
Click Here to see how to upload a baseline inspection video.
Click Here to see how to upload other inspection videos.

  11. How do I get a full inventory and damages report from an inspection?
You can get a full inventory and damages report from an inspection if you perform a standalone inspection or if you perform a move-in inspection. You can also define custom inspections to act as a standalone inspection and get the full inventory and damages report.

  12. How do I set up my Inspection Journeys?

  13. Can I have automated notice messages sent out to my team or residents to perform the inspection?
Absolutely! You can create your automated notices and messages by using our Inspection Journey feature. Click Here to see how.

  14. I have performed an inspection but I can't see a report. What can I do?
There could be a few reasons for a report not being available after performing an inspection.
    A) If the inspection taken was a Baseline inspection, then a report should not be created.
    B) For any other inspection, a report should be created, but it may take up to an hour to have the report available. You may find it's status in the Scans Log Page. If the Status shows "Done", and you still cannot locate the report, please contact a member of our Support team.

  15. Where can I see my inspection status?
To find your inspections status, you may visit the Scans Log Page.

  16. How long does it take for a report to be ready following an inspection?
The time it takes for a report to be ready varies based on the length of the inspection and the activity on our system. It can take from 5 to 60 minutes.
